How many solar panels do I need for my home?

Answer in 10 seconds: check your monthly units on your bill. 300 units is about 3 kW, 650 units is about 5 kW, 1200 units is about 10 kW.

Direct answer: Your size = monthly units divided by 120. Then add a battery if load shedding is more than 2 hours a day. The finder below does this for you and checks your budget and roof.
Everything switched on together. Your inverter must cover this.
Printed on your electricity bill. 0 means not sure - the finder will not warn on it.

Single-phase vs three-phase for net billing: Many DISCOs require a three-phase connection for net billing, and systems above 5 kW usually need three-phase. If you are single-phase, the Finder warns you - confirm with your DISCO and budget for a phase upgrade before paying an installer.

Shade free part only. 0 means not measured yet.
Note: Guide only, not an installer and not NEPRA. Prices are November 2026 examples with date stamps. Recheck before you buy. Generation changes by city, roof angle, shade and weather.

What is the price of a 3kW, 5kW, 10kW, 15kW and 20kW solar system?

Short answer: 3 kW hybrid is about PKR 365,000, 5 kW hybrid about PKR 585,000, 10 kW hybrid about PKR 1,050,000 in November 2026 examples. On-grid is cheaper because it has no battery. Off-grid is higher because the battery is bigger.

Catalogue - by size, panel brand and inverter brand

Every group starts with a short Look for paragraph, then a shortlist: one line per item, with price, key spec and one reason. Two kinds of rows live here, and every line is labelled: panel and inverter rows carry sourced prices or ranges with the source named, while system rows are the November 2026 guide examples used across this site, labelled Unverified / Example only. Where sources disagree the line says Price conflict, and where no price could be verified it says Price check in progress. No price is guessed.

Best for your situation

Each group starts closed - tap to open it. Sizing uses the one basis shared by every tool on this site: system size = monthly units divided by 120, the same basis as the Finder and the calculator. Heat, dust, shading and battery age then cut real output below claimed output, so each group also says when to price the next size up instead of trusting the first number.

3

How much will I save and how long is payback?

Short answer: A 5 kW hybrid at 70 percent self-use often pays back in about 3 to 4 years under net billing. Under old net metering it looked faster. Use your own bill below.

Guide estimates, not quotes: These are guide estimates, not quotes. Your actual price depends on panel grade, inverter brand, battery size, roof, DISCO, and an installer survey of your home. Savings and payback shown by this calculator are estimates only - never guaranteed savings or guaranteed payback.
Words explained: Self-use means solar you use at home right away. It is worth your full slab rate. Export means extra solar sent to the grid. Under net billing you get only PKR 11 to 13 per unit for export.

The one basis used everywhere on this page

Every saving figure on this site uses this single basis, so the Finder, the catalogue and this calculator never disagree with each other:

Monthly units made = system kW x 120 units per kW (site range 100 to 140, by city, season, shade and dust)
Saving per month = (units you use yourself x your slab rate) + (units exported x export rate) - nothing else
One self-used unit saves your full slab rate. One exported unit earns only PKR 11 to 13 under net billing.

Scenarios are labelled because your DISCO tariff and the export rate move: Scenario A - net billing (Feb 2026 onward) is the default below. Scenario B - old net metering 1 to 1 applies only to older connections. Battery replacement is a range, not one figure: a 5 kWh lithium unit is a PKR 185,000 guide example on this site (Unverified / Example only), and a sourced 10 to 15 kWh bank is PKR 350,000 to 700,000 (solarpanelmarket.pk, checked 4 Nov 2026) - type the figure from your own quote. Maintenance is split out as its own input below and left at Rs 0 by default, so no figure is assumed for you.

Presets fill starting slab, import and export rates. Copy the exact rates from your last bill if they differ - presets are editable examples, not official tariffs.
Sun hours differ by city. Karachi and Multan make more units per kW than Peshawar or Islamabad in most months.
These stay on your bill even with solar. They are added to the new bill, not the saving.
Panels slowly make less. About 0.5 to 0.8 percent a year is normal for good panels.
Left at Rs 0 by default: no maintenance figure is assumed for you. If you pay for cleaning or a service visit, type your own yearly figure here and the realistic payback will include it.
Used only for the NPV line below. NPV compares future savings with money today - a method European calculators like SolarReckon show openly. This is your estimate input, not a bank rate.
120 units per kW. Range 100 to 140 is normal. This is an estimate, never a guarantee.

Assumptions used for every calculator result

Generation per kW per month comes from the slider or city preset (100 to 140 units is the normal range, never a guarantee). Self-use share, export rate and import rate are the values you entered above. Fixed charges and taxes stay on the bill in both cases. The realistic payback adds the inverter replacement, battery replacement and yearly maintenance values you entered, and applies the yearly degradation you entered. Prices are November 2026 examples - if any input is blank, zero or negative where a positive number is needed, no calculation is shown and an error explains what to fix. Saving is also shown as a range, using the low and high ends of the generation range, and the NPV line discounts 25 years of net saving at the discount rate you enter.

Which panel and inverter is best for me?

Short answer: Longi, Jinko, Canadian Solar, JA Solar and Trina 580W N-type panels are all close in quality. Pick on price per watt, real warranty and a genuine serial number - not only the brand name.

Compare brands

Price ranges below are worked out from the checked model prices already on this page - panel brands from the sourced per watt rates, inverter brands from the billhub.pk ranges, both checked 4 Nov 2026. Not published means the source does not state it - it is never guessed.

On phone, this table stacks into cards so you never need to scroll sideways. In the compare table above, the winner in each row is marked.

What is the best solar panel and best solar inverter in Pakistan?

Direct answer: Best panel is a genuine A-grade 580W N-type panel with a checkable serial and 12 year product warranty. Best inverter is a hybrid model that is on your DISCO approved list, with service in your city.

What is the solar panel price per watt in Pakistan?

Short answer: On 4 Nov 2026, solarrate.pk put the typical rate at Rs 39.8/W, checkprice.pk put Tier-1 at Rs 37 to 46/W, and other sources put Longi at Rs 41.8 to 45/W. Sources disagree, so ranges are shown below with name, link and checked date for every row. Rows with no source link are labelled Unverified / Example only. See all sources - How prices update

Guide estimates, not quotes: These are guide estimates, not quotes. Your actual price depends on panel grade, inverter brand, battery size, roof, DISCO, and an installer survey of your home. Flags: Sourced price means a source name, link and checked date are shown in that row and you can open it yourself. Sources conflict means two sources disagree and both ranges are shown, not averaged into one fake exact price. Unverified / Example only means this guide uses the figure as a November 2026 example in its tools, but no source in the 4 Nov 2026 set publishes that exact figure. A-grade and B-grade are never mixed.

What solar system is best for a 3 marla, 5 marla, 10 marla and 1 kanal home?

Where can I find a solar installer in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and other cities?

Small but real directory, checked 4 Nov 2026 from official websites. Every card is labelled Public listing - checked 4 Nov 2026 - not yet phone-called by Solar Guide Pakistan team. That is honest: the name, address, phone and services are as published on the official site, but this team has not yet called, visited, or checked past work. Always verify before paying.

How verification works - read this first

Public listing - checked 4 Nov 2026 - not yet phone-called by Solar Guide Pakistan team

These are real businesses found on their official public websites on 4 Nov 2026. Details are copied as published, with the official site linked on every card as the source. This team has not phone-called any of them yet, so no card is called Verified by us, and no install count, rating, or track record is added unless the official source stated it and the card says so. A fully phone-verified listing would require: 1) a phone verification call on the number to be printed, 2) an office visit or past work check, and 3) two past customers the team can call. The verification date would be printed on the card when that happens.

8 real listings: 3 Lahore, 3 Karachi, 1 Islamabad, 1 Nationwide. Filter by city only, so no brand or size claim is invented for a listing.

Call the published number, visit the address, ask for panel serials in writing and two past customers.

Your city, your installer

Every city has its own DISCO, its own sun and its own market. Below is a short paragraph per city, not just a list - then check that city's installers in the directory.

Lahore - LESCO

Sun: about 100 to 140 units per 1 kW per month, best tilt about 31 degrees, panels facing south. Market: Hall Road is the dealer market named by the price sources on this site, and three of the eight directory listings are Lahore companies. Price note: Lahore wholesale rates are the base the other cities are compared against. Winter smog is Lahore's real enemy - plan cleaning every 1 to 2 weeks in smog season.

See Lahore installers

Karachi - K-Electric

Sun: about 110 to 150 units per 1 kW per month, the strongest sun on this list, best tilt about 25 degrees. Market: Saddar is the dealer area named by the price sources, and three directory listings are Karachi companies. Price note: Karachi dealer prices typically run 3 to 7 percent above wholesale (solarpricepakistan.com.pk, checked 4 Nov 2026). K-Electric runs its own net billing process - it is not the LESCO form.

See Karachi installers

Islamabad - IESCO

Sun: about 95 to 135 units per 1 kW per month, best tilt about 34 degrees. Market: Raja Bazaar in neighbouring Rawalpindi is the dealer market named by the price sources. Listings: one Islamabad company is in the directory, plus the nationwide listing. Note: IESCO checks that the name on your CNIC and the name on your bill match exactly - fix any mismatch before you apply.

See Islamabad installers

Rawalpindi - IESCO

Sun: about 95 to 135 units per 1 kW per month, best tilt about 34 degrees, much like Islamabad. Market: Raja Bazaar is the long-standing dealer market named in the price sources on this site. Note: no Rawalpindi-only company is in the checked directory yet - the Islamabad and nationwide listings cover this city, and an empty local list is more honest than an invented one.

See installers for Rawalpindi

Faisalabad - FESCO

Sun: about 102 to 142 units per 1 kW per month, best tilt about 31 degrees. Market: one Lahore directory company lists Faisalabad in its published coverage, and the nationwide listing includes Faisalabad among its 20 plus cities. Note: with FESCO the sanctioned load limit is the most common stop on a net billing file - check yours on your bill before you order panels.

See installers for Faisalabad

Multan - MEPCO

Sun: about 108 to 148 units per 1 kW per month, best tilt about 30 degrees - strong sun, but summer heat above 45C cuts panel output, which is exactly why this site shows generation as a range, never a promise. Market: one Lahore directory company lists Multan in its coverage, and the nationwide listing includes Multan. Note: meter queues in busy MEPCO circles can be long - apply early.

See installers for Multan

Quetta - QESCO

Sun: the calculator preset for Quetta is about 135 units per 1 kW per month, among the highest on this site, with cool air that helps panels. Market: no Quetta company is in the checked directory yet - use the nationwide listing and confirm Quetta coverage on its official site. Note: fewer AEDB certified installers work in some QESCO districts, so check your installer's AEDB status first, before installation, not after.

See installers for Quetta

Bahawalpur - MEPCO

Sun: the calculator preset for Bahawalpur is about 130 units per 1 kW per month - hot, bright and dusty, so cleaning matters as much as tilt. Market: no Bahawalpur company is in the checked directory yet - the nationwide listing is the starting point, verified on its official site. Note: Bahawalpur files move through MEPCO like Multan's, so the same early-application advice applies.

Before you pay - four checks that protect your money

Short, honest basics. No bank rates, no brand rankings, nothing invented - just what to ask and what to check.

Financing basics - installments without surprises

Banks and installers both offer solar on installments, but this page lists no bank rates, because rates change and none was verified for this page. Before signing any plan, get these in writing:

  • Total payable over the full tenure, not only the monthly installment
  • Markup rate, and whether it is fixed or floating
  • Processing fee, insurance and any other charges
  • Early settlement penalty, and who owns the system until the last payment

Then run the Calculator with the financed total as the system cost. Payback on a financed system is always longer than the cash payback.

Spot a fake or B-grade panel

  • Check every panel serial number in the brand official app or verification page before fitting, not after
  • Serial on the back sticker must match the barcode on the frame
  • Model and watts on the nameplate must match your invoice, line by line
  • Ask for the flash test report for your serials - genuine stock comes with test data
  • Crooked or reprinted stickers, mixed cell colours, cut cables or yellowing backsheet: walk away
  • A price far below every other dealer is a warning, not a bargain

Tier-1 is a list of manufacturers, not a stamp on one panel. A fake panel with a famous logo is still fake.

Roof and shading checklist

  • About 100 sq ft of clear roof per 1 kW, plus walking space for cleaning
  • Note what shades the roof, and at what hours: water tank, parapet, trees, the next building
  • Shade free hours matter more than total roof size - measure the clear part only
  • Ask whether the quote uses a standard or an elevated structure; it changes the price
  • Get the shade assessment in writing before you sign, not after fitting

The Finder above checks your clear roof area and shading against the size it recommends.

Net billing vs net metering - the short answer

Old net metering swapped units 1 to 1: one exported unit cancelled one imported unit. Net billing, for new connections from February 2026 under NEPRA Prosumer Regulations 2026, pays about PKR 11 to 13 for each exported unit and charges your full slab rate for imported units.

That is why solar you use yourself is now worth the most, and why old 2 year payback claims no longer fit new buyers. Full detail is in the net billing guide below, and the Calculator shows both modes.

Before you pay - the guides that protect your money

Each card has a real photo, a short paragraph and three takeaways. Figures are commonly advertised ranges - the written quote is what counts, so confirm in writing.

Net billing - what it is, and how to apply the official way

Short answer: net billing is the current system for new solar connections. Solar Guide Pakistan is not NEPRA and not a DISCO - this guide only explains the official route.

What net billing is

Under the NEPRA Prosumer Regulations 2026, SRO 251(I)/2026, dated 9 Feb 2026, net billing replaced net metering for new connections. Units you export are credited at a lower rate than the rate you pay for units you import. The export rate used on this site is a range, PKR 11 to 13 per unit - it is not a single settled figure, because the applicable rate is set under the regulations and your DISCO agreement. Source: nepra.org.pk, checked 4 Nov 2026.

Solar Guide Pakistan is not NEPRA, not AEDB and not a DISCO. It cannot approve your connection, your meter or your bill. Only your DISCO can.

Lookalike agents - read this before you pay anyone

  • Never pay an agent to apply for you. The application goes through your DISCO, with your installer - there is no agent quota and no shortcut fee.
  • Beware lookalike websites and pages that copy NEPRA or DISCO names and ask for payment. Apply only through your DISCO office or portal, or the NEPRA site at nepra.org.pk.
  • Anyone who promises approval in 3 days for a fee is selling you something the DISCO gives in its own time, after inspection.
  • Keep your CNIC, bill and agreement copies with you - never hand originals to an agent.

Eligibility - what is checked

  • The connection and bill are in your name, and the bill name matches your CNIC exactly
  • No unpaid dues on the connection
  • System size within your sanctioned load
  • Inverter model on your DISCO approved list
  • Installation by an AEDB certified installer, with proper earthing and protection

The steps, in order

  1. Install with an AEDB certified installer using an approved inverter.
  2. Apply to your DISCO (subdivision office or its own portal) with CNIC, latest paid bill and installer documents.
  3. Technical inspection of inverter, earthing and protection.
  4. Sign the net billing agreement with your DISCO.
  5. Bi-directional meter installed by the DISCO.
  6. Export credit starts appearing on the following bills - imported units at your full rate, exported units credited in the PKR 11 to 13 per unit range.

Full DISCO-by-DISCO detail is in the Guides and the DISCO section below. Forms and fees change - confirm the current list with your DISCO before applying.

Checklists, FAQ and plain word meanings

Installer checklist - before you sign

A listing on this site is a public listing, not a guarantee. Like Canada's vetted directories, the real check is licence, registration, insurance and warranty in writing - and that check is yours to do with the installer.

Quote checklist - what a full quote must include

      Quick FAQ

      Glossary - plain words

Key answers - in plain words

These main answers are written directly in this page, so they can be read and indexed even before any script runs.

      Solar system price in Pakistan?

In November 2026 examples, 3 kW on-grid is about PKR 285,000, 3 kW hybrid about PKR 365,000, 5 kW hybrid about PKR 585,000 and 10 kW hybrid about PKR 1,050,000. On-grid, hybrid and off-grid prices are never mixed - a battery is the main reason hybrid costs more. Prices are dated examples, not live quotes.

What is net billing in Pakistan?

Net billing replaced net metering for new connections in February 2026 under the NEPRA Prosumer Regulations 2026, SRO 251(I)/2026, dated 9 Feb 2026. Exported units are credited at about PKR 11 to 13 per unit, while imported units are charged at your full slab rate. Source: nepra.org.pk.

How many panels do I need for my home?

Start from monthly units: 250 to 450 units usually fits 3 kW (6 panels of 580W), 500 to 800 units fits 5 kW (9 panels), and 900 to 1,400 units fits 10 kW (18 panels). Final size also depends on peak load, roof area and shading - the Finder above checks those.

      Do I need a battery?

If load shedding is 0 to 2 hours a day, a battery is optional. At 3 to 7 hours, a 5 kWh lithium battery usually covers fans, lights, fridge and router. Only hybrid and off-grid systems work during load shedding - a plain on-grid system switches off with the grid.

How long does solar take to pay back?

A 5 kW hybrid at 70 percent self-use often pays back in about 3 to 4 years under net billing on simple math. With inverter and battery replacement and maintenance included, the realistic payback is longer - the calculator shows both numbers side by side.

What does a 15 kW system cost?

On-grid and hybrid are quoted separately, never as one range. On-grid 15 kW: November 2026 example PKR 1,220,000, with a typical on-grid spread of PKR 1,220,000 to 1,450,000 driven by panel brand, inverter brand, structure type and city. Hybrid 15 kW: example PKR 1,580,000 including a 15 kWh lithium battery - the battery is what drives the hybrid spread. Both are examples to recheck, not fixed prices.

Solar lagane ka kharcha kitna hai? (Roman Urdu)

November 2026 ki misaal qeematon mein 5 kW hybrid system taqreeban PKR 585,000 ka hai. Asal kharcha battery, inverter brand aur panel par depend karta hai. Load shedding mein sirf hybrid system chalta hai.

سولر لگانے کا خرچہ کتنا ہے؟ (Urdu)

Plain answer: this current version is static, so it cannot fetch prices itself. A 6-hour automatic update needs a server-backed version, not a static page.

      What is needed, in order

      1. Custom domain: for example solarpakistan.pk or similar, bought from a registrar, with DNS pointed to the host and SSL on.
      2. Hosting with a small backend, not just static hosting. Options: a small VPS, or a hosted app service like Render, or Hostinger Business plan or higher for Node.js Web Apps. Note: a Premium Web Hosting plan does not include Node.js Web Apps, so that plan alone is not enough.
      3. A small backend: Node.js or Python, with a database for prices, sources, installers, and a price history table.
      4. A scheduled job every 6 hours that fetches the dealer price pages listed on the Sources page, parses only the published per-watt and per-plate figures, stores the new value with source, date and time in PKT, and keeps the old value if a source fails.
      5. A human review step before a changed price goes live, or at least an automatic stale flag if a source cannot be checked for 24 hours, and never invent a price when a source is down.
      6. An API endpoint the website calls for current prices, with Last refreshed in PKT, data age, and per-row source and checked date.
      7. Rate limits, caching, and respect for each source site terms and robots rules, plus a fallback to the last good snapshot.
      8. Separate URLs per question, price page and city, a sitemap.xml, and robots.txt, which are only fully possible on that hosted multi-page version, not in this single-file prototype.

Exact sources the 6-hour job must fetch

Only these legit source pages, each stored with its name, link and checked date and time in PKT:

If any source fails, the job keeps the last good value and flags it Stale. It never invents a price, and this page never shows a fake live clock.

The cheaper manual version for now

A person re-checks the 7 source pages on the Sources page every morning and evening, updates the table with a new date, and rebuilds the page. That is honest, and it is what the current dated snapshot is. Prices on this page were checked 4 Nov 2026 in that manual way.

      WhatsApp share note

The generic WhatsApp share on this page uses wa.me. That wa.me use is what blocks a Muse public re-share of this prototype, and the share decision is still pending, so the button is kept as it is for now. A self-hosted domain version can use wa.me normally, because it is not shared through Muse.

Every DISCO has its own rules - LESCO, K-Electric, IESCO and the rest

Solar sites in Canada give a separate guide per province, because the rules differ by place. Pakistan is the same: every DISCO runs its own net billing process. Below is each DISCO with the calculator preset rate (an editable example), the export rate used on this site, and the application route. Always confirm the current steps on your DISCO's own site, because forms and fees change.

DISCOMain areaPreset rate (example)Net billing note
LESCOLahoreSlab Rs 42, export Rs 12Apply through your subdivision with an AEDB certified installer; inspection comes before the bi-directional meter.
K-ElectricKarachiSlab Rs 40, export Rs 11K-Electric runs its own portal and process - it is not the LESCO form.
IESCOIslamabad, RawalpindiSlab Rs 42, export Rs 12Online tracking is common; the CNIC name and the bill name must match exactly.
FESCOFaisalabadSlab Rs 41, export Rs 12Subdivision route; the sanctioned load limit is the most common stop.
MEPCOMultanSlab Rs 41, export Rs 12Same route; meter queues can be long in busy circles, so apply early.
GEPCOGujranwalaSlab Rs 41, export Rs 12Subdivision route with the certified installer's paperwork.
PESCOPeshawarSlab Rs 40, export Rs 11Timelines vary by circle; always take a diary number for your application.
HESCOHyderabadSlab Rs 40, export Rs 11Confirm the current steps on the HESCO channel before installing.
SEPCOSukkurSlab Rs 40, export Rs 11Confirm the current steps on the SEPCO channel before installing.
QESCOQuettaSlab Rs 39, export Rs 11Fewer certified installers work in some districts - check AEDB status first.

Preset rates are this site's editable calculator examples, not official tariffs. Copy the exact rate from your last bill. Full step-by-step guides for LESCO, K-Electric and the other DISCOs are in the Guides below.

City sun, best tilt and roof layout

European calculators show the formula behind every number. This page does the same. Production is always shown as a range, never one exact number, because weather, shade and dust differ at every home.

CityApprox. latitudeBest tilt (about)Units per 1 kW per month (estimate range)
      Lahore31.5° NAbout 31°100 to 140
      Karachi24.8° NAbout 25°110 to 150
      Islamabad33.7° NAbout 34°95 to 135
      Rawalpindi33.6° NAbout 34°95 to 135
      Faisalabad31.4° NAbout 31°102 to 142
      Multan30.2° NAbout 30°108 to 148

Formula: monthly units = system kW × (city range). Tilt rule: best tilt is about equal to latitude, facing south. These ranges are this site's calculator ranges (100 to 140 units per kW) adjusted per city - estimates, not guarantees. In Europe this data comes from PVGIS; PVGIS figures do not set a Pakistan bill, so a local range is used here.

Compare two quotes, and cash versus loan

EnergySage and the Canadian sites insist on two things: quotes compared side by side, and a clear buy versus loan calculation. Both tools are here, adapted for Pakistan. Any field you leave blank is a hidden assumption, and the tool will warn you about it.

Quote comparison - Quote A vs Quote B

      Quote A

      Quote B

Buy cash or take a loan - enter your own markup

No bank rate is printed on this page, because no rate has been verified for it. Enter the markup from your own bank or installer plan, and the tool shows the total payable and the effect on payback.

      What we learned from abroad

The best solar guide sites in the USA, Canada and Europe were studied for this page. What works in Pakistan was adapted. What belongs to those countries and does not apply here was deliberately not copied.

      USA - EnergySage

      energysage.com

Done well: the calculator asks for no name, email or phone; market prices come from actual offers; buy versus lease is compared; payback, ROI and net savings are shown separately. Adapted here: this site's calculator also asks for no contact details, and the cash versus loan tool above does the same maths for Pakistan.

      Canada - SolarWeb and SolarQuotes

      solarweb.ca · solarquotes.ca

Done well: a separate guide per province, cost per watt by province, an incentives tracker, and an installer directory with no paid placements where installers are checked for licensing and insurance first. Adapted here: the DISCO-by-DISCO guides above, and an installer check that insists on registration, licensing and warranty in writing.

      Europe - SolarReckon and SolarCalcLab

      solarreckon.com · solarcalclab.com launch note

Done well: every calculator shows its formula, assumptions and sources; savings are a range; NPV and loan checks; a roof layout to scale; separate calculators for tilt, panel count, inverter and battery; no account needed. Adapted here: the tilt calculator, the roof layout tool, NPV in the main calculator, and assumptions printed beside every result.

What was deliberately not copied, and why

Data and sources - every source, its date, and its status in this version

Every price, installer and headline number on this site traces back to a source listed here. In this static version nothing is live: it is a snapshot from 4 Nov 2026 and it is now stale. Live data needs the server version that fetches these same sources every 6 hours.

Sitemap - every page on this site

Built for a future custom domain: question style titles, a short direct answer at the top of every question, and this sitemap listing all question, system, city and brand pages in one place. Honest note: this prototype is a single file, so each question, price and city opens at its own anchor on this page (for example #q-0 or #installers). True separate page files with their own URLs need the multi-page build on the real domain - no separate URL is claimed here that does not exist. Search engines reward clear structure and honest answers over time - ranking is earned, never guaranteed.

      About Solar Guide Pakistan

What this is: a guide-first prototype that helps Pakistani home owners choose a solar system size, check dated prices, understand net billing, and reach installers with a clear written request. It exists because prices and payback claims differ on every installer ad, and buyers had no neutral place to check.

What this is not: not an installer, not a panel shop, not NEPRA or any DISCO, and it takes no payment for systems. Prices shown are dated examples with sources and flags - verified, being verified, conflict, or stale - and a price is never invented to fill a gap.

Trust rules: a listing is shown as Verified by us only after a phone check plus an office or past work check, with the verification date printed next to it. Everything else stays marked Public listing with its checked date. Conflicting sources are shown as a range, not hidden.

What Solar Guide Pakistan is not

      Contact

Solar Guide Pakistan is an independent guide. It is not an installer and not a seller. No phone number, office address, WhatsApp number, or Facebook, Instagram or YouTube handle for Solar Guide Pakistan itself is published on this page, because none has been set up for this guide - and inventing one would send your message nowhere. The site owner name and a real contact email are on the Before you upload checklist, to be added before this site goes live on its own domain.

Want a quote? Contact an installer directly from the installer directory. Every card there carries that company own published phone number and official website.

Price correction? Send the dated dealer or brand listing you are looking at through the same channel you received this link from. If it checks out, the price list is updated with the new date and source. If two sources disagree, both are shown as a conflict range.

Installer listing issue? See the Are you an installer page for how listings are verified and corrected.

Privacy - what the quote form sends, and what it does not store

What the quote form does: it builds a lead summary on your screen, in your browser. The lead leaves this page only when you tap WhatsApp or Copy. The WhatsApp share sends the result text to WhatsApp when you tap it, with the message prefilled for you to send. Copy puts the same text on your clipboard for you to paste anywhere.

What it does not do: this static prototype has no server and no database. Your name, phone number and budget are not uploaded, stored, sold or tracked by this page. If you tap Save my result, the result is kept only in your own browser storage on this device, and you can erase it any time by clearing site data for this page.

Cookies and storage note: this static version sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. Save my result uses browser storage only, on your own device. Nothing is saved to a server in this static version.

On a future live version with a real domain, this page will be updated before launch to name exactly what is stored, where, and for how long - before any lead is collected.

      Disclaimer

Prices are dated examples for guidance, not quotations. Generation, saving and payback are estimates that change with city, roof, shade, weather, tariff changes and your own usage. Net billing rules and DISCO processes change - confirm the current rules with your DISCO. Always verify panel serial numbers, installer identity and the written quote before paying. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of savings, approval or product performance.

      Terms of use

By using this guide, you accept that all prices, savings and payback figures are dated estimates for guidance only - not quotations, not contracts, and not guarantees. Installer listings are public listings copied from official websites and checked on the date printed on each card; Solar Guide Pakistan is not a party to any agreement you make with an installer, and is not responsible for their work, prices or warranties. Always get a written quote, verify panel serial numbers, and confirm the current DISCO and NEPRA rules before paying anyone.

Are you an installer? How listing and verification work

      Onboarding steps

      1. Send your business name, city, office address and the brands you install.
      2. Documents check (list on the right).
      3. Phone verification call on the number that will be printed on the listing.
      4. Office visit or past work check - photos plus two past customers we can call.
      5. Listing goes live marked Verified, with the verification date printed on it.
      6. Re-verification if details change, and removal of the Verified mark if checks fail later.

      Documents needed

      • AEDB certification (or application proof)
      • Business registration or NTN where applicable
      • CNIC of the owner or authorised person
      • Office address proof - utility bill or rent agreement
      • List of brands you are authorised or experienced to install
      • Two completed customer references in your city

Until every step is done, a listing stays marked Public listing, not Verified by us, or is not published at all. A Verified badge is never sold and never given on a phone promise alone.

Send your details - 3 steps

      1. Send details: fill the short form below and tap the button - it opens your own email app with everything filled in. Nothing is stored on this site.
      2. We verify by phone: a verification call is made on the number you give, and your documents and two past customers are checked.
      3. Then you appear in your city: a listing is not published straight away. It goes live in your city in the directory only after the checks pass, with the verification date printed on it.

Honest note: this guide publishes no contact email of its own yet - adding one is on the Before you upload checklist. So the email opens with the subject and details filled in and no address typed: send it to the address published here once the site is on its own domain, or copy the details and send them the same way. Either way, nothing you type is stored on this site.

Before you upload - the owner checklist

This prototype is ready to review, but it is not live yet. Before it goes on a real domain, the site owner must complete every item on this list. It is shown openly, not hidden, so nobody mistakes this prototype for a finished live site.

      1. (a) Owner name and contact email: add the real site owner name and a working contact email to the Contact and About pages. None is published yet, on purpose.
      2. (b) Real domain in the canonical tag: replace the canonical URL placeholder with the real domain once it is bought, and update the Open Graph and Twitter URLs and images to match.
      3. (c) Connect analytics: connect privacy respecting analytics on the real domain, then update the Privacy page to name exactly what is collected.
      4. (d) Phone-verify the 8 installers: call each installer on the published number, and change a badge from Public listing to Verified only after a real call, with the verification date printed on the card.
      5. (e) Re-check prices on upload day: re-check all 7 price sources on the Sources page on the day of upload and update the checked date everywhere it appears.
      6. (f) Decide the wa.me question: wa.me WhatsApp links block a Muse public share, but they work normally on a self-hosted domain. Keep them for the domain version, or remove them for a Muse public link.
      7. (g) Automate the price job, or check manually: set up the server-backed 6-hour price update described on How prices update, or run the manual morning and evening source check and keep the dates honest.
      8. (h) Separate pages and real sitemap: on the hosted version, give every question, price page and city its own URL, with a real sitemap.xml and robots.txt. That is not fully possible in this single-file version, and this page does not claim otherwise.
      9. (i) Name is final: the site is named Solar Guide Pakistan, with the tagline Real solar. Real numbers. No guesswork. The old name was dropped because a real installer company already uses that old name in Islamabad. Check the title, header, footer, About, Privacy, Disclaimer, Sources and sharing tags all carry the new name before upload, and that the directory still labels the installer Solar Pakistan (solarpakistan.org) as a separate company.
      10. (j) Set up the 6-hour live job, or keep the manual check: true live prices, updated every 6 hours, need the hosted backend described on How prices update, fetching only the listed legit sources, with Stale flags and no invented prices. Until that job runs, keep the manual morning and evening check, keep the checked date honest, and keep the stale banner on Prices.
      11. (k) Photo credits stay on the page: every photo on this site is a real photograph with a caption naming its source. Keep those captions and source links when the site is rebuilt for the real domain, and replace any photo whose source does not allow reuse.

Analytics and lead tracking - to be connected

      Placeholder - not connected yet

This section is a placeholder for the site owner. On a real custom domain, privacy respecting analytics and lead counting will be connected here so the owner can see visits, searches and leads per city. No visitor numbers, lead counts or charts are shown on this page, because showing invented numbers would be fake data. Nothing on this prototype tracks visitors.
